September Handicapped League Day

The first handicapped league day was held on Sunday 20th September, 2009. Congratulations to Luke Williams for winning the first league day. Results are below:

Sydney Olympic Park availability during world masters games

Due to the World Masters Games being held at Sydney Olympic Park in October, the Sydney Olympic Park Disc Golf Course will be closed on the following weekends:

  • 10th and 11th October
  • 17th and 18th  October

We apologize for any inconvenience that this might cause.

October League Day change of location

As a result of the above closures, we are hoping to hold the October League Day at Macquarie University. The club has received requests to play at Macquarie University and we would love to return there on a semi-regular basis. We are awaiting approval from Macquarie University and further details will be sent out as they come to hand.

Club members driving video on YouTube

Video review is a great way to analyse and improve your game. Recently Martin, Luke and myself recorded a driving session for analysis. The video includes a great reference throw from Luke in slow motion. He has a straight arm on the reach back and the disc trajectory is a straight line from reach back to release.
